During the week of November 4, Fraser Crossing Partners will be installing panels for the retaining wall on the south side of Columbia Street, just west of McBride Boulevard, as part of construction of the new E. Columbia Street off-ramp. This work will take approximately three nights to complete.

On Monday, October 7, Fraser Crossing Partners will be conducting nighttime utility and road work on Bridge Connector and a section of McBride Boulevard north of Royal Avenue. On Wednesday, October 9, crews will be replacing streetlights along the Royal Avenue off-ramp.

Starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, crews will be conducting nighttime girder installation activities over Front Steet between Begbie Street and E. Columbia Street until approximately 8 a.m. on the morning of Monday, September 23.
This work must be performed at night to align with railway operations.

Ongoing nighttime utility and road work near the Royal Avenue and McBride Boulevard intersection will continue intermittently for approximately two additional weeks.
Crews will also be located on Bridge Connector to conduct additional nighttime utility and road work just north of the Royal Avenue overpass. This work is planned to take approximately two weeks to complete.

Starting the week of June 17, Fraser Crossing Partners will implement a six-month full closure of Front Street between Begbie Street and E. Columbia Street. Front Street Mews will remain open and access to businesses will be maintained. This closure is required for crews to perform drainage work, install steel girders and build the new bridge deck across Front Street between the bridge foundation south of Columbia Street and the in-river foundation near the New Westminster shoreline.
Starting Wednesday, November 20, Bridge Road between Old Yale Road and Musqueam Drive will be closed for approximately two weeks. The closure will remain in effect 24/7.

Starting Tuesday, November 12, Fraser Crossing Partners will be conducting underground utility relocation work along Bridge Road and on Musqueam Drive near the intersection with Industrial Road. This work will take approximately three weeks to complete.
While this work is underway, short sections of single lane alternating traffic will be in effect during daytime hours. All traffic pattern changes will be well-signed, and traffic control personnel will be on site to assist drivers as required.

Starting in early October, Fraser Crossing Partners will continue bridge deck construction over Highway 17. This will include installing the concrete overlay on top of the deck panels to complete the bridge deck structure and create a smooth surface before asphalt paving. The bridge deck concrete overlay construction involves placing formwork, reinforcement, pouring the concrete overlay, curing, and removal of formwork.

In late September, Fraser Crossing Partners graded and paved 112 Avenue. 112 Avenue has now been reopened to two-way traffic. Construction of the curbs, driveways, and new sidewalk on the east side of 112 Avenue (in front of the businesses) is ongoing.

Starting Wednesday, September 11, Fraser Crossing Partners will begin building driveways for businesses and installing curbs and gutters along the east side of 112 Avenue (in front of the businesses).
Crews will also build a new sidewalk as part of the overall improvements for this area. This work is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete; however, it is weather dependent.

As part of the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project, Highway 17 will be grade-separated over Old Yale Road, improving traffic flow on Highway 17. In late July/early August, Highway 17 eastbound traffic will be shifted onto the completed portion of the new overpass, and construction of the westbound portion will begin.
