Current construction information, including notifications of upcoming work and navigational warnings (NAVWARNS) for marine users and businesses located along the Fraser River near the Project area, will be posted to this page throughout the construction of the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project.

Construction continues on the bridge deck and in-river piers near the New Westminster shoreline.

In New Westminster, girder installation is underway. Starting on July 8 and continuing intermittently for approximately two weeks, crews will be conducting nighttime girder installation activities. This work must be performed at night to align with railway operations. Front Street is closed for six months between Begbie Street and E. Columbia Street. Front Street Mews is open and access to businesses will be maintained. Construction is also underway on the East Columbia off-ramp and multi-use paths, and utility relocations and roadworks are ongoing. Learn more about upcoming construction activities in New Westminster.

In Surrey, girder installation is ongoing and deck panel installation is underway. During the week of July 15, Highway 17 eastbound will be closed overnight between Tannery Road and Bridgeview Drive from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Construction is also ongoing for the Highway 17 off-ramp, multi-use path foundations, and the Highway 17/Old Yale Road overpass. Learn more about upcoming construction activities in Surrey.
